The Nannen Arboretum welcomes the use of its facilities by individuals, groups, clubs, and organizations for educational meetings, programs or workshops that are consistent with the mission of the Nannen Arboretum.
Use of the Nannen Arboretum for Social gatherings rain/shine (i.e. Wedding Ceremonies, Church Services) is permitted only if the following guidelines are adhered to:
Insurance:
Certificate of Insurance
A certificate of insurance is required for any use of the building/grounds. The following liability limits apply:
$300,000 - for an informal group/individual (homeowners or tenants’ insurance subject to approval of our insurance carrier).
$100,000 - for an organization that is not directly affiliated with Cornell Cooperative Extension.
If an informal or non-profit group/organization does not have insurance coverage, an insurance rider can be obtained under the following circumstances:
1. Coverage NOT available for a business,
2. Coverage NOT available for formally organized groups such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, American Legion, etc.,
3. NO alcoholic beverages or illegal substance under any circumstances,
4. Coverage NOT available to include any athletic or sporting events.
