Memorial Program

The Nannen Arboretum Designated Memorial Program provides you with an opportunity to commemorate an important occasion or to honor a person dear to you.

Graduations, weddings, births, anniversaries and other lifetime achievements can be preserved in the Nannen Arboretum. Likewise, planting a living memorial to those whose lives have touched yours in a special way is a perfect way to acknowledge them and at the same time add to the beauty of the Nannen Arboretum.

We continue to accept donations in the amounts listed below to honor and remember loved ones.

Tree and shrub selection and site location is at the discretion of the Nannen Arboretum staff. The Arboretum may accept donations of plant material only when the plant is appropriate to the master plan and is accompanied by a cash donation to cover planting and maintenance costs.

While we cannot guarantee specific requests on plant species and location, we will try to honor requests or propose appropriate alternatives.

We also offer wooden benches and a brick path called “The Celebration Walk.” Bricks may be purchased and inscribed with the loved one’s name.

A letter of acknowledgment will be sent to the donor and any other interested person within 30 days.
